In-flight Beauty Regimen
Travelling away is always exciting, but even though the thought of hopping on to an airplane and buckling away your seat belts might seem fun, the high altitudes and air pressure can have a great effect on your skin.
1. Keep your skin hydrated with a toner.
Pick one that’s the perfect travel size, usually sample sizes, and one that contains your favourite essential oil. Apply a moisturizing face cream that also contains SPF. Pack it with you and reapply before you land, especially if your flight is longer than 4 hours.
2. Balm your Lips.
Pack a small tin of lip balm and soothe chapped lips as they can get especially dry up there.
3. Deodorize.
Don’t want to sit next to someone with awful BO? Don’t let yourself be the person with the stench, either. Keep yourself fresh smelling even if your cabin doesn’t provide you with a first class shower: some good deodorant ought to do the trick.
4. Ultra-moisturizer.
In other words, Petroleum Jelly – use it to moisturize your hands, elbows, lips, and any other part of your skin!
5. Snack Away.
Ziploc a few sliced up apples and drink tons of water. Don’t forget to eat those salads they give you in the airplane, provided they’re not old or anything.
Happy Holidays!
