Dolce & Gabbana’s NEW Light Blue – Dreaming in Portofino
D&G launced the orginial Light Blue Gragrance in 2001 followed by the Men’s Version in 2007. After years of being a well recognized and popular scent this year they launched two limited edition frangrances inspired by the fantastic Mediterranean locations – coastal village Portofino and volcanic island of Stromboli. The new versions are named Light Blue Dreaming in Portofino (for women) and Light Blue Living Stromboli (for men).

I used to wear D&G Light Blue all the time during my University days years back and loved it – I generally don’t stick to a specific fragrance – I like to change it up eveytime I finish a bottle. Firstly the new D&G Light Blue does not smell at all like original scent. Dreaming in Portofino is a beautiful summer scent, which smelled amazing on my skin even after a few hours. It’s a very clean and fresh scent. It smells a bit spicy at first but once it settles into the skin it is neither strong nor spicy. It is long lasting and not overpowering, as some scents tend to be. It reminds me of summer and beaches. It’s a very sensual, adventurous yet fresh scent.
